When a loss occurs in our lives, in the beginning, there are lot's of people around showing much support.
Well Wishes, Loved Ones, Clergy and a Host of Other's.
As time goes by, this support seems to disappear, and we feel lost and sometimes very, very alone.
AFT(war)DS, is here for you! We are here to let you know that you are never alone.
There is a Loving, Social Network that meets regularly to just re-engage in "LIFE.
PUT THE PIECES BACK TOGETHER....
Putting the puzzle of our lives back together after tragedy and /or loss of loved ones, job's, relationships and many other things that we encounter in our lives are not easy. AFT(war)DS, knows that there is strength in numbers.
We have a wonderful group of men and women that come together to just plain ole, talk about life stuff.
Some come to just listen.
Other's come to engage in conversation. Some bring poetry, song's and dances to share with our group.
We are blessed to have each and every one of our attendees, just be themselves.
We Encourage it, We Engage it, We Embrace You.
We are not a therapy group, we are not a counseling session, we are not any such thing.
What we are, is a Social Healing Group.
The healing comes from relationships with others who have experienced similar situation's.
