Church of Christ i'm new

We appreciate our visitors joining us in worship and hope you were encouraged by the powerful Word of God. May He continue to bless you; please come again.

At the Laurel Avenue Church of Christ, we greet all newcomers with open arms. You are welcome to come as you are. You will not be judged by your past, your present, or your attire. We aim to share with you the hope, love, and acceptance of Jesus Christ. Whether you're in search of a warm church community or seeking a more profound spiritual practice, our doors are always open. We never single out any of our visitors. Understanding that visiting can often feel awkward and self-conscious, especially when one does not know anyone, we refrain from asking visitors to raise their hands, wear a visitor's tag, or stand during the announcement of visitors joining us in worship.

- WHAT TO EXPECT -

We want you to feel at ease when you visit, so here's what to expect:

- THE BUILDING -
Walking through the foyer to the double doors leads you into the “auditorium,” where our services are held. Please feel free to sit wherever you are comfortable.

- PRAISE & WORSHIP -
Our worship services start with a time to praise God through song. This time spent in song is a vital part of our service as we lift our hearts in praise to God.

- SERMON -
A message based on Scripture will be delivered to encourage and aid us in understanding God’s word and applying it to our lives. Our minister will deliver a heart-touching sermon, typically lasting 45 minutes to 1 hour.

- INVITATION -
At the end of his sermon, the Minister extends an invitation to those seeking spiritual assistance in any form to come forward.

- COMMUNION -
We observe the Lord’s Supper each Sunday towards the end of the service. During this time, trays of unleavened bread (His Body) and individual.
